Let us start off by saying that The Naked Truth Project is not trying to treat, diagnose, or in any other way take the place of medical treatment. Not on this website and not anywhere else. If you are concerned about symptoms that you are experiencing or are concerned about particular exposures that you’ve had, please go see a doctor. Don’t try to figure out what’s going on with you based on what you’ve read here or on any other website online. Human health and illness is way too complex for that.
Let us also say that we are not claiming that toxins cause all health problems. The symptoms and illnesses below can be the result of many different causes…toxins just happen to be one possible reason for them. We are, however, saying that we feel that people should include their personal environment – what they put in their body, on their body, and in their home – as a factor in their health, just as they would their diet, stress level, amount of exercise, family history, and all of those other questions doctors ask you about. |

Headaches, respiratory problems, digestive issues, anxiety, and other symptoms don’t just happen for no reason. They’re our body’s way of telling us that something’s not right and needs to be addressed. Listen to those symptoms – they’re usually the warning signs that are leading up to a bigger problem. Treating the cause of those symptoms when they first present themselves often prevents more serious diseases and illnesses from developing.
If you have recurring symptoms, you may want to keep a journal and track what you’re eating, where you go, and what products you use for a week or two. You may be able to find connections between your symptoms and some element in your diet, home, or workplace. Sometimes symptoms can be prevented just by removing that element from the picture…other times people need to eliminate the exposure and seek medical treatment. |

Again, we’re not saying that toxins are the only cause of these illnesses, but they may be one factor in the whole complex cause. That is why we advocate avoiding toxins before illness happens. We can help you with the avoidance. Doctors can help you with the rest.
